On the day of Bharatha hunnime ie. on 3rd of feb was celebrated the brahmothsavam of Sri Arkeshwara Swamy. As the deity's temple is situated on the banks of river Arkavathi, Named as Arkeshwara(lord Shiva). The eve is Celebrated gloriously from years.

Rangarayara doddi lake is one of the biggest lakes in Ramanagaram. Thanks to RCUDA(Ramanagara Channapatna Urban Development Authority). for the development work done. boating facilities are being offered @just Rs.25 per hr.The recent development has made the lake and the hill beautiful. Now the lake is one of the tourist places and beautiful view of sunset can be seen sitting on the hills in the glimpse of lake, enjoying the cool air on the top. Rangarayara doddi lake is an awesome experience.
